Having managed to get myself back into MTB (last time I rode properly was in 97) I feel totally lost now...
I've just bought the Muni-mula that D_XZ is selling and want to build it up using XTR as much as poss... my questions are...
The current mechs are: LX Front, Deore rear, HG50 9 speed cassette..
1. Will any 9sp chain be fine?
2. I presume I can upgrade parts to XTR in stages rather than all at once? eg XTR rear mech with existing kit?
3. Is any of the XTR kit only compatible with XTR?
Think thats it for now but sure there will be more!
