Leave it alone and keep it as it is, its quite happy that way.

It's not an obsession at all, no worries. After talking to a good friend of mine today, keeping the original setup is back for consideration.
I have a lot of time to think so I'll just start cleaning it up and make sure the rear wheel will be running smooth again. It's kind of wobbly now. We'll see where it ends :D
 
Love Mountain LX. Actually, I forgot about it until this post. Can't wait to see the outcome.
