Italian Job anno 1991

I stripped my bike of Campa and replaced everything with late Suntour parts. what a difference! I can now shift precisely without waking the whole street :)

surprise

I'd never imagine that! Cyclist who never had (like me-) Campa-parts think (like me) these Italian things are some kind of "nonplusultra" among bike-components... SunTour gadgets rules -wouww!

Where does Blaze fall in the hierarchy of Suntour bits?

I'm a massive Suntour fan and have Cylcone mechs on my everyday ride.
The shifting performance is a world apart from the Nuovo Record equivalent.

So good to see this Bottecchia being used and cared for I have a soft spot for the marque
having sold mine a few years ago I wish I had never been so stupid but you never know what you have till its gone.....lesson learned

subsequently being wiser

The base of a proper decision is experience. The base of experience is an inproper decision... :?
Is it impossible for you to have another one?
This Boti is a gem:joy to posses,to ride and even to have a glance on it :)

absolutely fdoc if we don't try we never learn. I dare not bring anymore bikes home........
a botti would be high on my list though.
