'03 GT I Drive 2.0

finally got round to putting my i drive on here!

wanted one for ages, so when the time came to replace my giant - i went for this off BarneyRubble (cheers mate!)it arrived in mint condition!
The wheels also came from mickyc - mavic cross rides - they look spot on i reckon!

the remaining bits i transferred from my stash of bits its got an FSA carbon flat bar on now and a carbon seatpost

i'll put the full spec on when i get chance.





its a mint bike, rides well - gonna get it as light as i can i reckon!!!

I brought an I-drive 5 not long ago 2nd hand and the suspension is very, very unobtrusive. They do seem to ride well.

Yes, bottomless is a good way to describe the ride

Not sure how the new ones ride, think mine is a 2006/7 model

This was mine before Barney bought it! Looking good bud, i only sold it because i found the reach wasn't long enough Good to see it built up tho

Cheers for the positive comments - now got some pics of it with carbon seatpost, bars and shorter stem. just got some fox talas forks to go on to replace the tora's that its currently got. i'll need a bit of time to fit them i reckon!

just need to service the freehub as there is some play which is affecting the mid range gears and whilst freewheeling at speed its grindin' its cock off! :?

got the fox's fitted now, gonna put some race kings on when the weather gets a bit better. Sorted the rear hub as well, so no grinding noise anymore. the bike feels alot lighter and faster now as well so really pleased with it!

Hi v12jat, i have just got an i drive 6 to build up and was wondering what length rockshox forks you were running on your i drive before you swopped them?

hi m8, i was running a tora sl coil 100mm fork, not sure of the a-c measurement though!
