this is what has replaced the Jones as my playing out bike......apologies for the modern bit.

needed a large light bike (for my dodgy knees) with front suspension (for my dodgy wrists) as im struggling on long rides.

a single speed will be on the cards too, but this will be the main bike i hope......

i wont be comparing it with the jones, its just replacing it as my main rider.

im not a fan of suspension, but need it, so i compromised with a lighter than normal bike.

i will see how i get on with it.

they are not really designed for long rides , just to go fast .

but a near perfect build there . :D

its had my head battered looking at bikes, this is my wild card, i wanted a modern bike like a cannondale flash carbon or the like.....though i almost had a scale carbon a few years ago.

mt longest rides are 20-25mile (when i do get out that is) though typically 15 miles, thats when my wrists and knee starts to play up........though offroad that turns into 10 miles!

i have been better on mega light weights in the past, and as much as i hate suspension, i almost bought a full suspension, but decided it would only come into its own off road, and 90% of my riding isnt classed as offroad, but cycle ways etc......hence i opted for front suspension.

Using a full race-spec bike for comfort on 15 mile rides makes no sense.

It's a beautiful machine though!

 believe me, aslong as it has something where my wrists are not used as shock absorbers it should be a dream to ride.

looking forward to taking it out tomorrow for a shake down.

Then dump the flats and get risers on it.
