now I am picking up most metal vacuum cleaner old tubes that people throw away in the street

they make nice tubes to get leverage and the diameter allows to put a tool handle in it :idea:

I just tried the tool in the vice method. The bench moved intead of the BB. No I will try LGF method instead.

Put some penetrating oil in there as well if you can for a day or two to help.

I thought the drive side unscrewed anti-clockwise and the non-drive was clockwise ??
I guess this explains why I can't get my bb out !

If you don't have a long crank bolt, use a spare wheel QR to hold the BB Tool in place.

I found the seat fixing bolt from many single-bolt seatposts does the job. Can't remember the exact bolt size, but I think its m8 or m10.
