I had them on my Rockhopper and it they felt good for the two minutes I rode it (it looked awful the way I had it set up with those bars & stem)... I wanna be in the drops off road and on the hoods on the road I guess

it came back for a fettle after about 5 mins (usual front mech and brake tweakage) and not had a chance to get out again since, but so far so good. It's fast, lightish, very stable and reasonably comfy!

Uncle Johns are cyclocross frames so I think the drop bars are what it's meant for. Looks great to me!
