'90 Yeti Ultimate - The ultimate Ultimate (Update 7/7/11)

Thanks all.

I had quite a disastrous mishap with the build last night, so no updates for at least a few days until I can get it sorted.

Front brake bolt sheared off in the stud. I need to take the fork to a machine shop so they can extract the bolt from the stud and hope they can do it without ruining the threads. :?

Alloy bolt?
Actually it was a standard Shimano bolt, but the head sheared off clean. I'm not sure if it was defective or if I put too much force on it.

At least it's not as bad as some of us were thinking! :)
Yes, I guess it could be worse, but from my perspective it's bad enough! What were you thinking it was?

Pressing the headset in you noticed a crack.

Back in the 80s,Yeti was THE bike to have in Boulder Colorado. Zap used to wax poetical in MBA magazine about it's magical properties. Very nice!
