Great write up Alex  a task i don't envy you for
Great time had by all i'd say :D though i do wish i'd continued to the top on that extra loop,it looked a real killer bit of single track :D ,i'll have to get up and do it in the warmer months.

Yeah great time  and many thanks to Radek for the lift up there and all my toilet breaks on the return trip
Thanks also to the organizers

£3.70 a pint was still a bit steep though

Me too, but my legs were too knackered. Hope to do it sometime, love singletrack especially when it's downhill. ;)

Just watch out when you reach the bench you go straigh on and not right - and look out for the steps just after that.

Right, who's rippin' the pish, it's gone again and back to devout dirtbag?

disclaimer
shed this how gazz told the story

shed was at gazmacs house on saturday doing a bit of bikee swappy
outy stuff mainly fitting new cranks to his giant anthem ,the old cranks
of which were going on the IO genesis s/s for the pitlochry meet
no retro but s/s so a bit okay
however gazz got some news and had to cancel for sunday ,so shed
reckoned he would head off and get an early night for the big day
so he fits the rack to the tow bar on his motor and attaches the giant
next up the genesis , this whilst in conversation with gazz
then sets of on the 18 miles to home
rolling along the a92 with thoughts of food and a couple of beers
shed becomes alarmed by the other motorists on the road
driving past beeping at him ,flashing their lights etc
clowns ... then it occurs that maybe they were trying to tell him something , you aint seen nothing yet by bachman turner overdrive
is blasting out of the car stereo (Jeremy clarksons 40 driving classics
2.99 from a bargain bin near you) feeling un-easy shed turns it
down a few notches , the musics replaced by a grinding noise
its only half a mile to the next layby he reasons ,i'll pull in and see what it is
upon walking to the back of the car he cannot comprehend the scene
the giants fine safely strapped onto the toast rack (as its called)
however the genesis is only held on by the staps that hold the wheels to the rack
the handlebar is about 40% shorter than it should be ,but only on the one side , the brake lever/reservoir are no where to be seen
as is the seat and a fair bit of the post , ground to atoms along the A92

this weenie thing has gone too far

i'm told theres pics and am currently in negotiation for them
