Yes I think so, Haven't paid it much attn since removing before using.

It basically means you can use a braze on mech on a normal tube without a braze on joint.

sure, but I am thinking of modding into into an inner chain guide, hence why I'm wondering if the little hole on the RH side is threaded ;)
 
Your chainsaw may need a sharpen, that's why the rings in the log have splintered..... :roll:
