Thanks for a great day out.
Felt really at home with all you ugly buggers.('')
Have spent most of the morning trawling the net for an 18” project to replace my broken fire trail.('')
Looking forward to the next ride already.
Mikee – thanks for the loan of the Marin eldridge.

IMPRESSED

Moving time exceeded talking time..................just, thats got to be a new MacRetro record

Good to meet you trev - hope to see you out again soon.

You could just keep borrowing bikes from mikee, that way you can ride something different for each ride this year :)

Jeez, my poor auld legs are still knackered today. But what a great way to knacker them, must do this again.

The Kaaaaa with the one rear light is nothing. For the last week or so I've thought that the campervan's lights weren't too bright, didn't take time to investigate why. On way home realised they were more than just dim, they got progressively worse. Thinking that it was the alternator not charging the battery, I debated with myself whether to stop (they were feckin' really dim by this time) and call AA or "press on" at increased speed, cough cough, to get home before they expired. So went as fast as I could get it to go.
Well when I got home I was shocked at how bad they were from outside the 'van, switched off the engine and lights, tried to restart but nothing, nada, not even a click. Told my wife about it when she got in, she asked me if I'd checked which battery the 'van was using, the main or leisure, she checked switch and you've guessed it, that's what was wrong. Switched over and everything OK. I'd never even thought that was it.

That's the first time and probably will be the last time that she will have sussed out what was wrong with a mechanical device.

I'm like Tazio, I'm wondering how long it is till I get a MacRetro label?
Do I have to be able to keep up with you guys next time to get it?

The MacRetro labels are in the post :D John will bless you with them but he's a tad busy just noo. But they will be coming! :D And welcome to the fold!
