Hello,

Recently had a frame and fork on ebay (what a nightmare that turned out to be )..........well just before sending the frame and fork I noticed a crack in the steerer tube,. I sold the frame only as in this state these forks are dangerous. So my question is...should I just cut them down and make the steerer shorter and hope to sell them to a small frame owner or can the tube be filled up with resin ? to re-enforce the crack. ps the crack is longer and visible from inside the steerer ! The outside crack is only the length of the flat bit in the steerer, the rings were obviously made by over-tightening a stem ( prob a CNC sharp edged one ! )

fit for the bin only fella or as a wall art if you cut it down it wont do a thing as its too late the carbon shaft is compromised already
