any body got a test write up please

Yep, it was awesome. :)

my one had been fitted with stratos forks which is the first time i had seen them. Had it for a couple of years before selling it in '02 to get a dudu.

I will have a look through my old Dirt mag collection. Just bought a couple more from 97 to add to my collection, will have to get some scans up.

Dragging up an old post here but I am asking the same Question as the OP.

I have been offered one for peanuts and wondered what they are like.

The bike looks and feels great and its IMO a great price so am wondering on any other opinions.

Thanks

Adam

they are good solid frames. bit hefty but then all older dh frames are.

i would get a disc mount adaptor as they are Vbrake rears which i just wouldn't use for fast descents these days.

I've been riding DH from Les Gets to Hamsterley since 1998 on my Stab. It still does the same stuff as all these young 'uns do on their nice new machines.

Totally bombproof and worth the 1175GBP (frame only) I paid for it. 15 foot drops all day long!
