Cool . A shame there isnt at least one or two european bikes .

Ferraroli were exceptional machines in the early 90s , and Sunn cant be ignored either

Hmmm.... European bikes

The article was on milestones. Actually I don't know of a European bike in the same league as Bontys, FATs and even some other US bikes that weren't featured (Zaskar for example :) )

One great bike I could possibly think of that comes close -sort of- is the Sunn DH rig of mid tineties, but don't know whether it was really revolutionary in technical sense. I am not really in the fully-thing.

Pace possibly? Think it is great and quirky, but not a revolution.

For now I can't come up with more.

BTW: What is a Ferraroli?

Ferraroli were made by alain Ferraroli , a swiss guy . Mainly steel , great colours , in the same league as Klein . I will try to find pictures .

These bikes were regarded as exceptional .

Found a Ferraroli mag scan on MTBR. Unfortunataly the scan is a bit poor quality and my French is also not excellent.

I wish I still had my Tazmon, fully polished with risse terminator shock it was good for anything and everything. Sold it to get a Heckler which was better on the downhills but didn't sprint or climb anywhere as near as well as the Taz. I've got a 17" Taz in the garage that I'm building up for my friend's son just wish it was big enough for me.
