Action Now was published in the early '80s in Southern California, and celebrated what we would today call the "X-game" sports: surfing, skiing, skateboarding, BMX, motocross, heavy metal music, and at least a little of the very new mountain biking scene.

Editor Dean Bradley compiled this collection of every off-road bike on the market at the time. As you can see, the Ritchey stood out, and became the model for all mountain bikes for the next five years.

Hi RR,

Great scans! Of all the nice bikes I like the Lawwill most. Aestheticly.
