Since I first got into this whole retro mtb scene I've found I'm getting more and more into the early full suspension designs.

I think this is because BITD I found them so exciting, I used to flick though the magazines to find out what the next hair-brained attempt would look like (and did it actually work? :lol: ) Now of course everything has calmed down and manufacturers are just improving the few designs that made it though.

So I thought I'd start a homage those early designs - the weird, the wonderful and the downright sexy... :D

My magazine collection starts at '93, so not much before then from me, I've got a big stack of images on my computer now and I'll post them up as I process them. Feel free to add!

first proper mtb i rode was a proflex with rigid forks and a felx stem.

thats the one! wow a mate with way too much money (well his parents did!) had one just like it! but with judy sl's, spins, ringle stem and post, flite, cooks cranks, but stx rc canti's :shock: :oops:
