just wondered if you are still on the forum, could you help me find the serial number location? i think i justbought the same bike but in worse cond?

should be under the plastic cable guide under the BB shell

it is on the pasilades trail and pine mountanin of the same vintage :wink:

'87 BV - Seeing that picture brings back memories - I had that exact same bike as my first "real" mtb bitd - love 'em!
