I guess Tom has the final say in this, but who'd like to see the regularly used & abused retros too?

I'm talking about the retro builds with blemishes. Paint chips, wonky bits, eclectic mish-mashes.

Especially to those of us with the special stuff, the rare pieces, maybe bring the real mtbs that see the dirt more than our garage queens?

Just me?

I'd rather see used bikes and bikes being used. The one good thong about cycling as a whole is that just about any bike from at least the last 80 years can be made ready for the road. Even Bugatti's get driven in anger.

I'd like to see all aspects of the mountain bike story.

As long as people love them, I'm happy.

All my bikes have chips and blemishes.... it doesnt stop me taking them, I do use them too but I also clean them, they last longer that way I find. but if you want to take a 20 mile ride in thick mud then lean it on the corner of a brick wall before turning up just to prove its used ......... go for it, I'll still like it.

Plus I dont have a garage Image

<rant, gnashing of teeth, moan, mutter, more rantings>

Usual diatribe condensed to a simple 'I dont agree with that, I'm out'

Yeah but its 'dirty'.

Imagine that, mountain bikes, dirty, heaven forbid!

LGF:

There's a difference between 'patina' and 'dirty'.

But, you're 'out' either way so that won't concern you no doubt...
