what is the criteria for bikes? i'd like to bring a couple but im scared they'll not be good enough looking at the past pics. id love to bring my fuquay, overburys, pace, dynatech and s&g but theryre not all strictly period accurate (but not far off)

cheers

chris

Bikes don't have to be slavishly accurate or else I might as well stay at home, which would save me a bloody fortune!

The thing with any show of this nature, be it classic cars, motorbikes, prams or whatever... is in my opinion 'diversity'. This is a show just as much about the people and how they see/build/appreciate their bikes. I want to see all aspects of the Retro MTB story, not just period correct trailer queens. And I think I speak for most people on retrobike?!

Bring your bikes and let us all enjoy them with you and I would love to see the Fuquay.

See you and your bikes in two weeks then?

Bloody well said chap! Amen to all of that. The stories behind the bikes are always intriguing - the reasons we chose whatever it is that's been restored, ridden, coveted since our teens, sold the caravan to buy, robbed a bank to finance, whatever.

The words iconic and classic which form Iconoclassic can cover pretty much everything that'll be on display I'm sure.

And Chris, the DynaTech has to come just so that people can point at the top tube and wonder why it's the shape it is. Then we all debate the use of standard lug sets etc. Haven't seen the Fuquay so please bring that and allow me to pick your brains over it.

A comic genius.

You can bring your hat if there's any room in the car.

It's in the town square of Warwick, a week Sunday, the 21st.

No need to register of bringing a bike to display, we're setting up from 8:30am with a view to being 'ready' for 10:00am start.

Pre-95 bikes only. Head to www.Iconoclassic.org or www.Facebook.com/Iconoclassicmtb for more info :D

Are you planning to bring and show or just come for a look?
