Any ideas when thomson started making their stems and seatpost? Memory (and mtbr) says posts 99 and stems '01. Sound about right?
 
I think the posts were 98, Klein were using them from memory. The stems I think were 2000 had one on my Klein adept
 
Seatposts started appearing in 1998 and were specced on quite a few 99 bikes (which appear in the latter half of 98. I can't remember when the stems did.
 
My '97 Adroit was manufactured in April '96 and sold in Jan '97 with a Thomson seatpost so I'd assume they had to be mfg'ing them somewhere between those dates.
