without taking off a wheel. Interesting concept on how they designed the seats to fold forward, back, and toward the center of the car, to accommodate multiple configurations. Video shows the design people talking about the vehicle and shows how the seats fold up.

I can get my bike in the Mrs car without lowering the seat or having to go through the hassle of removing the front wheel (20mm axel)
She drives a Honda CRV

Gc

So you can get a full bike in this thing but you have to lose two of the four seats to do it? I'm struggling to see the win here, plenty of existing cars can match that.

Quite - I only have to fold the back seats down & a bike (or 2) goes in easily... & that means only the back half of my car is permenantly muddy

Interesting idea though

I was led to believe that the defunct but strangely cool Audi A2 allowed a MTB in the boot upright (rear seats folded).

The A2 was an excellent car, I heard its demise was due to it costing more to make than Audi could sell a small hatch for.

I still quite fancy one.

I did the same thing to a mk2 escort years ago . You get some funny looks with the masses of space to your side but a mate sat in the back

Also a bmx will easily fit in a mk1 or 2 cortinas boot without any hassle .

This was the one where the bonnet could only be opened by audi technicians. fluid checks were done through portholes. Not something I could live with.
