I've just seen the news from Haiti. Let's get this moving and sell it soon, they need money right away.

To move things along, I'm now sending a cable, an Avocet saddle and a Syncros seatpost. Who's doing swapsies for those?

Been thinking about this all night, at the risk of looking like a spammer, here's a gratuitous link to my charity bike.

Can we just build a mountain bike between us all?

been thinking about this for a couple of days and i think als point is the right way to go... need to decide on a central person to build it and a list of bits needed.

Al and I have already been talking about this.

On the MTB front, I'm donating:

Deore DX/Wolber AT18 wheelset
Syncros seatpost
Avocet O2 Ti saddle

and he's having a rummage for other bits. We'll be building a nice retro bike, but we haven't agreed who's building it.

What can the rest of you give? We need cranks, a nice frame and some forks. I don't have any geared stuff, unless you count horrible commuter stuff or things that are pre-1961.
