How many of us could do with their own personal versions of this:

Having seen first hand how littered the streets are in Tokyo (Japan as a whole) this seems a fantastic, if a little over the top, idea.

I can just imagine the British version. A Klein goes in and when you collect your bike a Halfords carrera comes out

I've never thought Japan/Tokyo as littered. Infact very clean. Long way bettere than here

I've never thought Japan/Tokyo as littered. Infact very clean. Long way bettere than here

With abandoned bikes not actual litter.

They have these in Amsterdam.Probably everywhere in the Netherlands

I looked at setting one up near Glasgow city centre.Problem i found was finding premises that close to the city,but where the rent is next to nowt.

Difficult to say the least.
It could be done if you had the council on your side and as part of a cycling initiative :? ,you could have the rates wavered or something to keep the running costs down
