I'm using Microsoft GIF animator. A now discontinued but freely distributable little program. Nothing to install, just double-click the exe file.

ive convrted the avi file fromflv off the tube ...drag and drop into the gif converter but it states error file is incompatible or corrupt....nipples

no need to resize it further.
you could link it straight from where it is but that would use extra bandwidth on retrobike.
