Waterproof cycling shorts

Afternoon all.

Do the above exist? If so can you recommend me some that dont cost an arm and a leg. Thank you

Stephen

I'm trying the alturas that are about £50, but haven't been out with them on yet. You could go for the army surplus trousers on ebay and hack them into shorts

Can you not just spray any old pair of shorts with proof spray :? ,as a repellent at least

I have the Enduras and as an idea recommended  , but mine have bust at the crotch(another recent Endura purchase that is much shonkiness). The Alturas look good VFM.

The Altura shorts are great so long as you don't have skinny legs
They are very baggy.

I tried using grangers waterproofing spray on my regular shorts and it worked for about half a wet ride then I had a wet bum.

another interesting option (assuming you use mudguards) is rain legs

they even do some that look like jeans!

personally I now say
get wet
get muddy
get happy

Its only for cycling to work. I dont mind wet legs but hate getting a wet ass on the way to work
