I was wondering about that! Mind you, bikes like the Tricross seem to do damn well at trail riding with slicks. On non-muddy days those could work really well.

Every time i've fitted light weight rubber. I spend the day puncture repairing :x

(also on a related note...3 punctures on my way into work this morning, equates to 1 puncture per mile!)

He was about one when the picture was taken - he looks older because he was still feral - just visiting that day - and needed "restoring".

I've asked him to look on ebay and see if he can order any lighter components in an attempt to compete with that bike.
