I keep a tank and emersion heater on back up. All i need to do is close a valve on the boiler open another to fill the tank and switch the electric on (or light the fire as it's on a back boiler too). I kept it all in when I fitted the boiler.
Haven't had to use it yet, but nice to know it's there so there is no panic if the boiler packs in :wink:

theres three twiddly knobs underneath the boiler - twiddle the middle one and piff paff poof, we have heating and hot water...

concides with a small dribble from the over flow pipe...

I'd get the guy who serviced it back out and see what the F he did to F it up.

good it was a minor thing,Sod £800 replacement costs.

I take it all is well in the Cheese household now?
