been using it for ages already, only real difference is when copying files from one pc to another over wifi.

Same here been using draft-n v1 and v2 for sometime.
(saying that I have all my network locked at 802.11g)
Nice to see they have stopped their meetings in some nice exotic destination though. ;)

It does have benefit for streaming HD Video and when multiple users are at it, still doesn't work too well when there are other Wi-Fi signals in the area as the good behaviour part of it pulls it back down to slower speeds so not to bond channels together. Not a lot of part use the b/g and a wavelengths though, that might improve it (until it becomes crowded again).

Though actually having Wi-Fi bandwidth constantly capable of keeping up with the fast broadband connection we have is a great help.

These 16Mbit max connections are quicker than real world 802.11b and not far off 802.11g, let alone the 24Mbit+ connections.
