Is it any good, or more to the point is it £60 (for the upgrade version at tescos) better than vista? Or is it too soon to tell?

Its far better then Vista.. Things are actually where you expect them to be, and its boots as quickly as OS X. definitely worth the upgrade. I've been running it for about a month now and the overall performance improvement is impressive.

been using it for a while, as beta, very impressed, do have it on order, poss delivery today, soooo much better than vista, i gave up there, and had stuck with xp, but yes 7 is worth the upgrade, if your pc can run vista, it will run 7.

100 times better than Vista. Will run on machines Vista wouldnt. Much slicker and the OS Vista should have been to start with!!!

Hated Vista and been using 64bit 7 for a few months now with out problems.

Also been using it for about a month, and runs even older software with an XP compatibility mode that actually works,

I'm running it fine with 2GB and an old 1.7Ghz laptop.
Why not download a copy and give it a try.
