My first sunday off in 5 years!!

Well........

To cut a long story short I handed in my notice at work on monday.

Not the best time to be looking for work but got a few irons in the fire so to speak

Anyway, my manager basically fell out with me and told me to "F**K OFF" and leave there and then!
(H.R department involved & my lawyer)

So to the point..............
I had great plans to be out on the bike ALL day today but,

I sat up till 5 this morning drinking red wine and playing my PS3

Got up at 11:30 (first time in 5 years)

Had tea and toast , now sitting with the laptop browsing this place and watching "Drop In Tv" (mountainbike show) on extreme sports channel

Have I wasted my day today?

Other than a little housework, my calender is free till my next interview!

sounds pretty good so far and might i say blindingly similar to my day so far except i'm still employed and i didn't get pissed last night and i'm watching the tour not drop in tv!

To quote the slogan one of our member Big Dave VW, 'A day wasted is not a waste of a day'.

ps the summer hols are now in full awing and i have 7 weeks off hehehe.gotta lurve a job that gives u so much holiday time.(to those who dont know i teach cycling prof at school).i get 4 weeks off at crimbo too.ps3 man huh ....what were u playing and did i kick ya butt in bad company last night.....

Been out on the bike for 2 hours,

Just had a slap up chinese takeaway.

Now sitting with Mrs P on the sofa for a footrub while Top Gear is on
(Giving the footrub, not recieving )
