Not revealing too much, but equipment for the Sky team to consider has been through my workshop.....

So I should say it looks pretty serious.
 
That is great news! Imagine how gutted our Gallic cousins will be if a Brit takes home the Yellow Jersey on the Champes de Lysee! :)

Cavendish is highly unlikely to be a contender for the Maillot Jeune - he is a relatively poor climber (too heavy as a sprinter) and timetriallist.

He will be a serious contender for the Maillot Vert if he can get through the mountains without being eliminated on time.
