Hubcap Cycles (ex GROVE, sweet bikes!)

Nice! What does tubing and paint cost these days? Those ain't cheap but I guess you'll never come across another on the trails.

Labour/Craftmanship are NOT cheap, his prices compare very well to other custom builders )and most of these guys are NOT in it for the money).
Dollar is low at the moment though ;)
 
some more....these are a lot older I think...found them on my memory stick with all my Grove Porn :LOL:

Pretty obvious who taught him to make frames :cool:

I met John today at a local bike shop (he is building me a fork). Super nice guy.

One of the shop employees had his Hubcap 29er there (I think it was Jim's frame in the photo gallery on his website). I was really impressed--superb craftsmanship and lots off attention to detail. I didn't ask him about prices, but John said he uses whatever tubing you want so I imagine they may vary somewhat.
 
I really like these, not come across them before but they are a little different and i really like the paintjobs. Thats what you get with a smaller company though, a little individuality!
