Kick Stands for a loaded touring bike???? Whats out there???

I'm trying to find a good kick stand(s) to keep up a loaded bike. Anyone know of a few good models? Would having one off each rack, front and rear, be better or would it be better under the bottom bracket?

Depends how much you're carrying.
FWIW, my touring bikes never have kickstands. I am unusually duckfooted and find I catch my feet on them.
But Pletscher make nice ones.

iv found that the pub usually has a sturdy wall to prop the touring bikes up against, and they dont charge for the service!

He He, I also kick my heals in when I ride. I'd probably have trouble clearing a kick stand on my bottom bracket. The pubs are usually safe bet, true, and there are everywhere in the Uk and Ireland. I keep roughing up my paniers when I lean them up. A strong set of kick stands with a brake lock/parking brake would be nice.
