Hi,Ive just bought some modern Specialized Roval Eschapee wheels,theyre supposed to be 9/10spd Shimano compatible but the splines on the hub body are a good 1.5mm higher than the splines in my 9spd block.?

help please :(

The spacing of the splines is spot on,fits all the way around on my Shimano cassette but then next step on the hub body is too high
 
Have spoken to my road guru here, that is a 10 speed specific Shimano body. It will not take a 9 speed cassette.
 
hope you are ready for anguish as a Roval wheel owner...you will find it to be a struggle. Some companies should stick to what they do best instead of trying to be everything to everybody.
