Here's an unofficial OS overlay for the whole of the UK for those who use Google Earth, very handy for finding those bridleway (and those little used footpaths ;) )

and I knew that track hijacked by horseriders was public (full of jumps and fences in the forest)
 
yep, quite a level of detail too, don't know the scales off hand, but the best one is the "pathfinder" scale, and then there is one level up again, which shows each house plot!
 
being really thick but i clicked the kml link,it downloaded it and now windows has no idea what to do with it?? :?
 
you got google earth ?

clicking the file opens google earth with the application turned on . i moved it to where i wanted it in myplaces and saved then i deleted the downloaded one

Where is this? I can only see footpaths near you not bridleways :?
