Both Toyota's stripped of their quali times due to technical infringements (rear wing too flexible. Williams are going to lodge a complaint against Ferrari & Red Bull for the same thing)

yes, Brawn - I like the colour scheme!

Button - post credit crunch austerity

Hamilton - pre-credit chrunch glitz

Looks like Hamilton will have to eat humble pie now he's driving a pants car. Bet he wishes that he hadn't commented on the 'monkeys at the back of the grid' now

Looking even better for Brawn (and much worse for Ferrari!) now that the actual fuel loads have been declared

http://www.itv-f1.com/Feature.aspx?Type ... n&id=45376

I do hope that the diffuser appeal is dismissed when it's heard before the Malaysian GP, it's about time that someone else started to take the wins rather than just the same 3 or 4 teams

The fuel loads are really interesting...

What chance Ferrari throwing their weight around before the appeal and Brawn being disqualfied/having point stripped...or is that just too cynical?

My predictions...

Force India wins its first GP, Ferarri appeals and is declared winner, Williams appeals against first appeal, promoting a bemused Sabastien Bordais onto the top of the poduim. Renault protests against all the other cars having black somewhere on the car- this has upset Alonso as he sees it as a slight against his best chum and former team mate Hamilton. BMW put in a counter protest satating that it is fed up of everyone mentioning the war, Bernie keeps all the money, Max Mosely is caught having sex with a grid girl whilst dressed this time as Pol Pot. Several other teams protest that Austrailia is not in the Middle East and therefore it shouldn't count. Hamilton discovers that his head has expanded further during the race and will have to wear his helmet for the rest of the season until his ego is reduced through innevitable poor performances.
Eventually under the FIA's sporting (sic) code, article 23, paragraph 245.9, 64 year old Doris Everard of Solihul is declared the winner subject to post race scrutiny. 'I'm delighted' said grandmother of eight ' I knew the diffuser I fitted to my trolley at Tesco's on monday would give me an advantage'. The media declares F1 a farce and breaths a huge sigh of relief that it has something else to write about now we have all lost interest in Jade Goodie. Doris appears naked in Nuts and is paid £10.
Bernie 'earns' £125,000,000 for the weekend and declares the first race of the season and exciting new era in motor racing. He also denies reports in the Guardian that he is indeed Andy Worhol.
