I know nothing about modern bikes, but I read a review in mbuk of the Specialized Pitch and they said it was as good and cheaper. I think. I haven't got the mag in front of me so not 100%.

I've seen it described as a 'rig' and instantly took a dislike to it.

I have an '08 Stumpjumper Comp. I think mine's the 5" travel version and the one you're looking at is the 4" travel version.

My bike feels great - based on 2 road rides and a parking lot test ride. I enjoy it. My bike is longer than other bikes of its' class, and it's quite efficient - even with the shock damping in the 'open' position. I really like mine.

EDIT: The frames look similar, if not the same. I like my bike, it's nice. The bike you're looking at has great parts for the price.
