Testing at Pembrey, retrobike fest.

I went to Pembrey race circuit to help my mate who was testing his GSXR1000 race bike for the coming season. Mountain bikes are popular for getting around the paddock and there is usually the odd nice retro steed, but there must have been 10+ there yesterday. 2 stumpies, 2 C16, 3 merlin framed and a couple i'm not sure off. Not to mention 2 Kuwahara bmx's. All in all it would have been a great day had it not rained all day!
Oh well at least he has perfected his wet set up

Anybody else competeing at anything apart from mountain bikes this year?

must be a motorsport thing.saw loads of retrobikes at the silverstone classic last year

I'm racing in the ma5da mx5 championship again this year (funds allowing :? ).

We raced at Pembrey last year & it hammered it down during testing then brightened up for the rest of the wkend. It's a great track & there were also a couple of retro steeds spinning around when i was there-can't remember what they were though as was in race mode :twisted:

What's series is your mate racing in?

North gloucester championship open class and powerbikes. If he can afford to do the whole season he'll win the championship.

cant afford real motor sport so have to make do with racing cars in 10th scale

might have another blast this year
