I looked at the map and got really excited thinking there were loads of trails I hadn't discovered then realised they were contour lines :lol:

That's a good map of most of the trails, there might be a few more here and there but that covers the bulk of it. Impressive.

there was a point where i was getting pissed off not knowing which turn to take on the fireroads and ended up at a map that lacked a " you are here " so i stood swearing at it then realised it was numbered , turned around and saw a big 16 :lol:

Took mini me on sat for a couple of hours. Been a while since my last visit on the bike.... probably my last NPS race in 2004! eek.
It does lend itself well to a retro outing though.... !

It's also worth trying for a night ride. The gates and the bike shop are open until 8ish on a wednesday night and if you're lucky you will see the spooky floaty eyes of the herds of dear that roam the place.
