i use a dmr chain tug . the left one to be specific as the right hand side has a mech hanger

i chose this one because the tug part doesnt wrap around the end of the dropout at all it just pushes against it . a small detail that makes wheel removal/insertion hassle free as the wheel nut can be wound off enough to pull the chain tug away from the dropout enough to push the wheel in and unwrap the chain from the teeth . the tug doesnt have to be loosened so refitting is easy and no retensioning required . it also supports a qr axle unlike others that wont

something like that

ive used all of these in the past

the primo is heavy and the washer got in the way of the freewheel

i have some of these somewhere , the slotted tug wont pull the axle straight

bent the bolts

Cheers Perry,
I'd seen the DMRs on CRC and just ordered a set for the cruiser.

Anyone know of any red (or white) ones?
