It really is beautiful out there, I'm not sure if a ride would do me any good right now after having a week off with this 'flu' shit. Still feeling bad. :cry:

i gave myself a little stick yesterday so today is rest day ready for tomorrow, so fettling in the garage for me!! :D i want to finish the proflex if i can.

it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow aswel :D

mrs got back from work a bit past 1 so i mentioned going for a ride but she wasnt interested . i said how about you sit in the car while i ride then :lol: and she agreed :shock:

so i did a lap of rutland water in 1 hour 20 mins . raced some bloke on an GEARED alloy specialised :lol: wasnt as easy as i hoped it would be . i started too strong and quickly went into anaerobic mode so 90% of it was a blur due to lack of oxygen/blood in the head :lol: had to us all the tricks to shake him off like holding his wheel to shield myself from the relentless wind and doing the roadie tuck on the downhills :lol:

didnt see him after the 2nd time i passed him :lol:

got a few people muddy :lol: but if they didnt walk in a line along the entire path i wouldnt have to ride through the mud and splash them :roll:

didnt they know i was racing :lol:

Well, I did do a bit of cycling today...

Found out that my Ti hardtail's BB or my left pedal is gone, and my RM Slayer has play on the rear linkage... :evil: :evil:

Nevertheless I enjoyd it though

I was in the bedroom today from 11am to 5.45pm without a break.......



......stripping.......





.......wallpaper off the walls and ceiling :roll:


Outside was sunny and dry, and I couldnt do a thing about it :x Still, its done now, and the pasterer is coming next weekend to skim my 100yr old walls and ceiling. Lovely! :lol:

had the kids today, and half of tomorrow, whilst the wife is at a hen party....

but hopefully she'll be home lunchtime tomorrow.......




so I'll give the kids fizzy pop and e numbers all morning.... and run quick when she gets home :lol: :lol:
