So annoyed with myself.
Split my bike today and cleaned everything down ready for the next build.
Took of my front BB7 caliper and washed it in the sink.......when a little rubber cable seal thingy fell off.....into the plug 'ol. :x
Now it doesn't affect the brake in anyway......but it sure is going to annoy me that it isn't there!
Angry of Penarth
And yes...I did take the trap out in a vain attempt to find it

    ....Whoooops !!! sorry to hear about your loss fella.. :) ............ But I see it that you did not get in touch with the water authority and ask them to have a dig around for ya... so no sympathy    ;)

There's a place where you can get another near me in Reading.
It's called Hill's Rubber. Fantastic place, if it's a grommet or a gasket, they know about it.
It's stuck sometime in the 1950s, with an old bloke in a brown overcoat who looks at whatever you bring in and mutters, then goes to find it from behind a glass counter. You pay for it, and he writes out a receipt on a till that must be victorian, a little bell rings when you open it.
They've got adverts for them from the 1890s on the walls. Brilliant.
Give them a call, they'll probably have it. If they don't do mail order, I'll pick up whatever it is for its price and the price of a stamp.
