if you can get it below 2kg - send it with royal mail - it's very cheap to Europe - but ONLY under 2kg.

Will they take it in two boxes....wheels in one and frame with parts in the other?

Update to parcel2go.com:

They now have a Parcelforce option which means for example I'm sending a frame in a box 98cm x 58 cm x 20 cm weighing 4.5 kg in total to Germany for £16. Not bad I think! (Let's see if they come to collect it though :? )

Just an update, I've been busy..

I eventually got the STS into 1 box 120cm length X 75cm high X 25cm width!

I went through parcel to go, they charged me £43.11 to send to Germany, its not express but it is a lot cheaper than the other couriers were after raping me for!

Thanks all for your advice, very helpful.

Andy :)

Need to post a full bike to Holland from the UK.

Box will be sourced from Halfords or LBS probably dimensions 150x90x30

Did some searches but the volumetric weight is pushing it up to nearly 70kg!

Anybody got any experience of posting full bikes to Europe, who did you use?

see above - and try and get it all into a smaller box basically :D You should be able to get a complete bike into 100x70x20 approx.
