The Fruit Pastlles thread got me thinking......whats your fave sweet?

Until about 6 months ago, I couldnt stop munching Licorice Allsorts. However now, my top 3 are as follows:

1) Wine Gums
2) Soft Mints (prefer the green packets over blue please)
3) Soft Fruits

Although, when the wife goes to the Cash & Carry, the big box's of those pink shrimps are fairly irresitible :lol:

I love sherbet flying saucers and while your at the c&c getting them,

grab me a tub of the candy bananas too 8)

It has to be Haribos.. But Fruit Gums are the future, too. BTW watch out on the licorice - my bruv once bought me a whole box of them which i rapidly scoffed - lets just say thank-god my folks had 2 toilets... :oops:

Double lollies
Beer pint sweets (like cola bottles but meant to taste of beer...they dont at all, but they are still yummy!)

Too many to choose from. I'll go for barley sugars.

Can anyone help me though, I remember a minty chewy sweet when I was a kid, so early '80s.
It came in a Chewit style packet, and the sweets were a similar size/shape, were spearminty, white with green stripes. Anyone know what they were?
