Yeh thats a great idea. Nice industrial design.
Like it. Only flaw I see is will people want to carry the additional weight of a half-bike with you up a mountain just so you can get a reasonable kick coming back down?
Why not just ride a normal MTB?

thats what i thought jez . walking isnt as efficient as cycling and even less so with a bike on the back
i doubt they are marketing to a cycling crowd who would rather ride both up and down or the hardcore ramblers who im sure would jump some poor hapless fellow if they saw them with one of those on their back going up a hilll
