Try www.E-bid.com
I've tried to sell on there but it just doesn't seem to be taking off. Pity really as fees are a LOT less than evil-bay.

Stopped selling on epoo ages ago. only buy now and then.

have a look at this site

http://uk.ebid.net

it's been picking up rapidly, and they use a flat rate system.

The only people who profit from a sale are eBay and the post office.

eBay is a joke. I hope another company dethrone it in the future.

eBay is schill bidder heaven. The company won't do a damn thing about schill bidders, even if it's so obvious. Why should they? The more you can sell it, the more eBay makes. And they now scrabble all bidder user names so it's hard for you to report or track schill bidders.

Actually, the only people who gets screwed are the genuine buyers.

If you are a seller, make sure you have a second account to schill bid (like you wife's or relatives). You won't get caught, believe me. eBay is stupid.

I don't participate at eBay auctions for the above reasons.

Just recently Ebay changed their charges. They decreased listing fees and increased the final sale fees. The idea is supposed to help people who don't sell a lot but I think it's had the opposite effect. Anything non-specialist that I want to sell goes on Ad Trader now.

Agree with you....I have stopped using Ebay where I can...all the charges that add up are ridiculous.
