Hi all, I'm not sure if this topic should be in G&OTChat or somewhere else as it's not retro at all, but this is the bit of the site in which I'm happiest nd most comfortable!! Lol!!

I got a beautiful new bike for Xmas & B'day from my Ma, bruv and sis-in-law, chosen with the fantastic help of my beautiful bf!! He wouldn't let me see my bike until Xmas day cos he said it would spoil his Xmas pressie to me ... so I didn't peek ... much as I wanted to!! Hehehe!!

Anyway, cut to the chase, he bought me (& fitted!!!) Magura Herzblut (spelling?) Special Edition red brakes, and they look SO cool and really pretty!!!!

I'm just wondering if anyone else has got them, and if you think that they are as fab as I do?!?!

Lollipops to all, Lx

these are essentially Magura HS 33 i.e. the best hydraulic rim brakes on the market. the "Herzblut" is a special edition. only 1200 were produced.

Finally some pics of my brakes! They're not very obvious as bf decided we were going for a ride in the mud ..... the pics were taken at the point where I got fed up with clearing out mud and grass for the nth time! Lol!!

I'll put some more up when the bike's clean and you can actually see the brakes properly! :-D
