Bloody woman drove straight out of a junction - just as I'm turning right.

Guess what - 'I'm so sorry, I didnt see you....'


I thought you were supposed to er... stop at a junction??

Bloody taxi felched, damaged all the inner door panel and inner wing = expensive

It don't take much to write one off these days. Thats a major bit of the cars structure damaged there and possible damage to the rear axle/suspension. Depending on the cars value and with the market we are currently in, that could yet prove to be a write off.

very, very true - a lady and her baby daughter were killed at that junction a few years ago in a similar accident. Luckily I was in a Passat and not on two wheels.

Depends on what happens - I'll need the use of a car while its being fixed/ written off plus all the fees of licensing another car if this one goes.

Just had a call from her insurers - its off for an estimate tomorrow and a curtesy taxi at my diposal whilst its being fixed.

Damn right too.
