can any one give me the dimensions of a spoke nipple, any normally available specification one will do.

I am after the
-maximum diameter
-the diameter of the spanner section (corner to corner distance)
-the overall length
-the length of the head (bit that sits inside the rim)

Im intending to use them for something other than holding spokes in a wheel.

I dont have a nipple to hand...well not the metallic type atleast

Cheers, but needed a little more detail than that, the 2mm you quoted i believe is the threaded internal diameter, the 12mm the overall length. It was the other dims that I really needed.

Cheers any way, im off home now so i'll measure one up .

No worries.

I'm not sure what tolerances you should apply to those measurements, but bear in mind that they were made after midnight at the end of a very rough day!
