Glove recommendations please

It was blinkin' cold last night and my usual full finger gloves just weren't up to the job.

Any recommendations out there for a winter glove which still allows shifting and braking?

Personally not fussed about waterproof - just warm fingertips would be nice.

I have slim hands - sz 8 - yes like a lady, but with hairy knuckles!

(NO! Not hairy palms before anyone suggests it!)

Sealskinz look good - I will check them out tomorrow at my local roadie emporium.

(shame they aren't made of real seals though - now that would be warm, especially those fury little pups... ;) )

Thanks guys - I bought some Chiba waterproof gloves - recommended by my LBS - if anything they are TOO warm! Good gloves though - recommended!

scott m/x/enduro gloves about £30 from your local offroad motorbike shop or maybe crc.
